Hertz in Boston, Massachusetts - No rental cars!!!

We arrived in Boston at 12 am on July 24. We were told by the kiosk attendant that our car size selection would be in the garage. We went to the garage to find a long line of people waiting and NO CARS!! The lot attendant told us there was nothing they could do that they were short staffed. We made reservations well in advance. We will never use Hertz again and suggest they get it together and quit falsely telling customers that their cars are ready when clearly they have none available.

We had no headlights, when we discovered this we were 150 miles away. Our schedule didn't permit us to return the car until 5 days later. Costing us over 4 hours of driving plus fuel, and basically a wasted day. I'm supposably a Gold Member for whatever that's worth....
