Hertz Montenegro charges

I booked car from Hertz in Montenegro airport Podgoritsa with standard insurance. After returning staff named mr.Gazivoda make wrong decision to charge me 120 euro for scratch on a plastic bumper.

Pls take a look on photo enclosed. I have more than 15 yrs experience for renting cars from dozen of companies, and same "scratches" have all rent cars and I'm never be asked or charged for that "scratch". I contact with Hertz on twitter account, and HelpDesk from May to August, 3 months reply me that they have no response from Montenegro partner.

Finally today Hertz reply me that I was charged right, but no document, no names of contact person who responsible for making decision. I think this is personal mistake of Hertz stuff, both in counter desk, and HelpDesk.

Hertz should be ashamed of itself. I prepaid online to rent a car from the Philadelphia airport.

It said to bring my itinerary. I called hertz Philly airport to ask about this nothing was and they told me where to park. I parked my car I was leaving there had to take 3 shuttles with my autistic son and luggage to get to hertz. Waited forever in line, even though there was the online cubicles and the hertz employee wouldn't let us use them.

Got to the front and was told in couldn't rent a car I wasnt from out of town. The website never said this. Only about itinerary which I asked about it. Nothing about being from out of town.

The manager treated us horrible saying I lied and didnt understand. When ask to be taken to my car they wouldn't even take me to my car. They left me and NY autistic son to walk on a highway to get back to my car. I was stranded and left without my money I prepaid.

I had to pay to get back to my car and find another car service which I did and was a *** of a lot nicer to us. Another service took me to my car because hertz left us stranded. The emotional and physical stress hertz caused me and my son is shameful. It then took me 4 tries to get my money back.

you should owe me interest. for the time I had to wait to get my money back and what I had to go through to get my money. and then the rep laughs at me through the phone when I say there needs to be a complaint about how we were treated. are you kidding your going to continue to laugh at the pain you caused me and my son.

Shameful. You lost mine, my families, my friends, my companies business.

They did not have the type of car I booked instead they made me pay additional amount for a more expensive rent or go for a cheaper one without a refund .

I was not happy the way they did their business and will not rent from Hertz again.

SHADY Hidden Charges in Car Rental

We had a couple of out-of-state weddings to go to, and decided to rent a car so as not to put all the miles on our own car. First time, tail light was out and we had to wait an extra 1.5 hours to get a replacement. Communication was horrible, but manager was nice enough to upgrade us and was very apologetic. Luckily we were going a day early, otherwise most definitely would have missed the ceremony. Second time was smooth. HOWEVER, we just noticed errant charges on our bank statement, and apparently we were charged tolls on both trips via PlatePass. Hertz partners with PlatePass, which is like Ezpass. Nowhere during the course of booking the rental online, picking up the car, or signing the rental documentation were we made aware that there was a PlatePass in the car, or what it even was. We had our own Ezpass in the car for tolls, and subsequently were charged for this PlatePass thing as well, which we NEVER AGREED TO. Calling customer service was completely useless, as they told us to go online to PlatePass's website to get a contact phone number. How does customer service not even have the phone number for a partner company?!?! Hertz claimed to be unable to do anything about the credit card charges and dumped it on us to fix this mistake that they caused. We will not be using Hertz again, and highly recommend that no one else does either.

Can I give Hertz no stars?? Wish that was an option!!! We have a confirmed reservation with Hertz to rent a car and drive to see our daughter, who is in the military with a 48 hour pass. 48 hours - that is all we have with her. When going to get the car, we were informed that Hertz didn't have any cars - none, in the entire state!!! After getting the runaround for 8 hours, we have finally given up. Don't use Hertz!!! They are the worst company I have ever seen - don't use them!!! Their customer service is auto-generated and cannot seem to help at all. #Hertz is terrible - don't use them!!!

I had accident from a truck that hit my car & my insurance company referred them. After 40 days of my car repair , I sent back the rental car. I don't have any problem with anything , I was like just asking to charge another card that the one , on file . I was shocked that rayan started to talk *** & very rude. , I was like shocked & surprised . My only request after he did it is to charge a different card than the one on file & it was still under my name. He like turn crazy & rude & started to talk *** . I asked him for his name & called the customer service , with no better result . We can't cancelled ur transaction , which was really abnormal .

I am done with Hertz. We rented a car six months ago at the Savannah, GA airport. The car had over 20K miles on it. Dirty when we picked it up. It was 6:30 am in the morning. No attendant in the lot. We had a minor hit and run. For six months Hertz was worthless in contacting American Express and USAA. I did all of the legwork. In the end, those two companies would not pay Hertz the "junk" fees. I mailed the credit card authorization form. Hertz said they did not receive it. I faxed it. Hertz says they did not receive it. There was $100 administration fee - I should have been credited the fee given the hours I spent on this. I will be taking my car rental business elsewhere. Hertz should have written the $217 that we were fighting over and kept a customer. They don't care.

Another car hit us. Hertz did not dispute the report and then charged us 5 times the amount for repairs....MAJOR RIP OFF AND PREDATORY PRACTICES.

HORRIBLE

I've been a Hertz Gold CLub Member for 17 years. Time to leave. I travel nationally. Every location has gone downhill. Portland, Seattle, both DC airports, and most of the airports I have travelled in between. First, the Neverlost is fading out. Customers love the neverlost. Its a large, built-in GPS screen that worked tremendously. Now, they offer you a screen the size of a phone, works sporadically, and you have to request it at the check out counter. They give you a bean bag to weigh it down on your dash. And, if you get one, they program it for you at the check out gate, so cars back up behind you. You could also be caught behind the long line of cars while checking out. Just checked out of CVG tonight. Long line of cars. A new employee was checking people out. There were two people in the check out booth. I asked why they couldn't both check out customers, they said they only had one tablet to do it. REALLY?? Hertz makes enough from just a couple of rentals to buy another tablet. I am writing this as I wait on hold for the Hertz national phone number. Been on hold about 20 minutes just to check the hours of operation for a specific location. Get it together Hertz. When you start losing long-time Gold Club members, you know you are failing.

We planned a trip to take our grandchildren to Florida and reserved a minivan from Hertz on Webb Rd in Wichita Ks. Two days before our departure, Marco, the manager there, called to inform us that they would not have a vehicle for us. I explained that we had a confirmation number and that we had planned this trip, assuming that we would have a vehicle. There was nothing mentioned in the booking of the car about the possibility that there would not be a vehicle available. I told him that he needed to check with other locations and find us a vehicle. I called the Wichita airport Hertz and they had 4 minivans available. I called Marco back and told him this and he argued that there was nothing he could do. I then asked for his managers number but he insisted that she didn't have a office or a phone number, only an email. He said he would see what he could do and we never heard from him again. He is NOT management material! Fortunately we were able to rent a vehicle last minute from Alamo and our plans continued. I emailed the corporate office and put in a complaint on the corporate website and have heard nothing after a week. Terrible customer service! Terrible management! What's the point of making a pre reservation for a car if there's no guarantee? NEVER using Hertz!

I droped my car a night before and left the keys in drop box. I got a call next day that keys are not in drop box and they don't even have a survailliance camera. annoyed with the employees in the location. never ever trust these people. they charged me 550$ on my account which is meaningless. worst behaviour ever. Manager and the employees are to rude they didn't even try to help me a bit. rather than helping they made it more worst. because of them I have been in depression all 3 days. they torchered me which is not acceptable. I hate this service. They don't even care for customers.

My wife and I rented a car from this office and we had the most awful experience 1 the car that was booked was not waiting for us when we arrived ...it had been sent to an unknown address in Riga for us to collect...even though we arranged pick up from the airport...the staff memebr greeted us in a bad mood and told us off for arranging collection in the wrong place even though we had arranged to collect it from the airport. secccond we where hammered on extra charges for sat nav child seat re fueling the list goes on and on when we returned the car we where shouted at because we did not have the car document wallet witch was not even ever handed to us in the first place witch the same *** who we met when we arrived at put in to the car glove compartment and had forgotten that he had. we received a speeding ticket (they double the fine to make profit) ps the thrifty office is not inside the terminal you have to walk several hundred meters with your luggage to find the the office and that is also badly sign posted so very hard to find and even though it looks on line to be a cheap price they hit you will all the extra charges once you actually collect the car by way of charges for insurance etc. they service was really bad and even though we got once charge refunded to our card it took a lot of effort and e mails to get anything at all out of them. do not use this company ! they are surprisingly owned by Hertz but the worst office I have ever dealt with. will never use them again in any country you have been warned without prejudice

Charged for ticket that I paid

I am absolutely furious that Hertz wants to charge me a 'Service Fee' for paying a parking ticket that I received after 12 days. Just because communication between Hertz and the City of Durango does not work, I have to pay a 'Service Fee'? Unbelievable. I had 14 days to pay the ticket and I paid it within that time frame. Three weeks after I paid, I received a later from Hertz prompting me to pay $80(!). $50 for the ticket and $30 for a Service Fee. While they took the $50 for the ticket off, I absolutely refuse to pay a fee to Hertz "for all their troubles". I won't ever get a Hertz vehicle again. Good job, Hertz, for loosing a customer over $30. I hope it was worth it.
