To use the Hertz points via the app, log in to your account, make a reservation, and select “Use my Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Points” on the Review and Book page.

You can’t directly add someone to your Hertz account, but you can add a driver to your rental agreement. When you pick up your rental car at the counter, the additional driver must be present with a valid driver’s license and credit card. Note that there is a fee for each additional driver. Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members can add a spouse or domestic partner as an additional driver for free. You can also arrange to add an additional driver by calling Hertz Customer Service or visiting a Hertz location during your rental period.

To delete your Hertz account, send an email request to mobilesupport@hertz.com. You can also contact Hertz Customer Service directly at 1-800-654-4173 for assistance with account deletion. I tried to get this resolved at the local level stayed on hold for 20 minutes finally did speak to a nice customer service person at the 800 level and they refunded my money.

We have not received a call from Hertz, therefore an extremely negative experience!!! We prepaid for our reservation with Hertz and had no cars available for us.

We had to take an Uber to reach our destination almost a 2 hour drive.

This was a horrid experience as my husband is a 100% disabled veteran using a medical mobility scooter HERTZ LEFT US STRANDED at 9:30 pm. Our credit card has not shown a refund for Hertz inital charge.

The worst customer service experience ever!

I rented a car and paid in full through Hertz.com in early August of this year for a car rental at the Spokane, WA airport. When I arrived at the counter, the representative (Brad) told me I was on a Hertz 'do not rent to' list and gave me the customer service phone number to call.

He said there was nothing he could do to help me. After calling the customer service line on 8/18, I was told my ID had been used fraudulently by another individual and that a refund for the amount of my rental car would be issued. I called again on 8/19 and was told that the refund had not been processed, so they entered the refund again. Now, nearly 3 weeks later, I am still waiting on the refund.

I was told it would take 7 - 10 business days. Besides, I have had to call various times and then directed to email or to submit forms online not just to the billing department but also to the 'do not rent to' department and the fraud department at Hertz. The customer service is absolutely terrible.

Calling them on the phone is almost worthless, the wait time and the lack of concern from each associate I had contact with was surprising. I also asked to speak to a supervisor a few times and was told that that was not possible.

All I have been trying to do is to point out to Hertz that their Customer Support Page comes up more or less blank, apart from a line at the top that says: "Contact Us & Frequently Asked Questions | Hertz"
There's also an invitation to sign up to their Gold Rewards plus scheme. I've looked at this, and it involves giving up so much confidential information before you even start, that I just gave up.

Would I be granted grand access to customer support if I signed up? I really cannot be ***
So, the big question: is it really impossible to access customer support if you are simply a customer?
Strange way to run a business!

I rented a car for our trip to Tulsa. The reservation asked for our airline travel itinerary , which I provided. The arrival time was 7:41 pm. On the reservation, the pickup time options only went to 5:00 p.m. In any case, Hertz accepted my reservation. When our flight arrived on time, the in-airport desk was closed, advising us to go to the station in the parking facility. There was no attendant on-site and a sign in the window gave us a number to call in the event we would arrive after hours (5:00 p.m., I’m guessing). We called the number but received no answer. We left a message. We never have received a return call. We ultimately went to National to rent a car. To date, 2 days later, we’ve not received any communication regarding our reservation. Please advise, as Tulsa is a regular destination for us. We will change rental companies, if Hertz is no longer available in Tulsa.

However the customer service as far as rental locati9n...terrible they never contacted me,said I had a car that s literally in front of their office windows and that has location capabilities. Next time call or give the option to speak to a human when someone calls your office...Hertz as far as Lubbock city location is OFF my list from now on,and I highly recommend to others to just go somewhere else.

The customer services at that location is horrible,poor it is a disgrace for a company hire all of this people to work for them..
You go out there ypu seat for 3 / 4 hours ypu didn't get serve why? Because whenever their friends walk in with no reservation or appointments or even signed In they goes right to then and the served them,because they all are Spanish, I feel like the discrimination play a big role on that. I like that company but people like that???.???
