Hertz car rental causes accident, all witnesses and police report indicates this. Six weeks later, Esis still cannot let anyone know if the driver of the accident causing rental is listed on the Insurance policy.

I can't figure out how they can not know this information, IT"S THEIR POLICY. Everything is stonewalled. Phone calls not returned. Typical tactic on how they just play games with people.

I would never rent a Hertz rental car. They just don't care.

I don't understand how this company can stay in business and not know who and who is not covered when they take out the extended coverage. This accident totaled 2 cars and damaged a third.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $9000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Hertz Cons: Lack of communication.

Location: Elk Grove, CA, USA

Hertz/ESIS has not reimbursed me for the charges of a rental car due to extensive damage caused by a AT&T employee who was driving a Hertz rental car on December 2017. I did not have car rental coverage under my policy, however, under the Texas law, the at-fault driver's insurance company must provide with a rental car and cost.

The investigation for the claim was completed after seven months and it was determined that the vehicle involved is owned by Hertz rental. I tried to contact the claim representative from ESIS and his supervisor concerning my claim many times, numerous phone calls with no answer concerning how the car leasing and costs to be handled, sent fax with invoices, if I talked to any of them the answer was that the claim was under review , and they were very rude in the process. Seven months after the claim and after an attorney from my insurance got involved, they paid to my insurance the deductible and the car damages. However, ESIS, INC.

the insurance for HERTZ, is responsible as well to cover the charges for the car rental I incurred. I am just astonished how HERTZ along with ESIS is violating the law or keep their licences. The Texas Department of Insurance cannot do anything because Hertz is a self-insured company. What about a class action law suit by other Hertz customers who has been victimized by Hertz/Esis?

Can it be done? Is any one interested in joining me in this pursuit?

A hertz rental totaled my tundra & my girlfriends sonota in my front yard while we was watching tv on the couch Nov.17 2018. I got the news from my girlfreind 4 or 5 weeks later that they deny liability.

This was after a whole lot of no calls back. They still never contacted me personally. The police went to hertz in the morning after, that is when they reported the car stolen. Claimed they didnt even no it was missing.

Are you telling me at the airport in south bend In. They dont no where there cars are. The kid accused of stealing the car is only about 17 or 18 yrs. Old i think.

He is a pretty good thief if he can steal a 2018 impala right out of the airport.

This wreck occured at 8.30 pm. So he had to have the car sometime before that.
